How to download course success data

  1. Navigate to https://myapps.microsoft.com/
     
  2. Select "GTC Dashboard"

  3. Select the "Course Success Rates" tab

  4. Select the tab for “Course Success Rates by Course”

  5. Use the options at right to select the courses you want to include.  In this case, I’ve selected the drop-down arrow next to Course so I can select a specific course. I’ve typed “psy-" in the search box to bring up the right course. I then selected the box next to “PSY-201” since that’s the course we want to look at.

    The dashboard sections should auto-update as you make selections. 
  6. Once you made your selections, put your cursor over the “Course Success Detail” section. A new menu should pop up in the upper right corner.

  7. Select the 3 dots in this menu for more options and then select "Export data"

  8. Select either of the first two options: “Data with current layout” or “Summarized data”. In this case, they will both give you basically the same information.

  9. This will download an Excel file to your computer. You can open it in your Downloads folder or directly from your browser, depending on your individual computer settings. 
    You may need to repeat this process for information from multiple semesters.

Once all of the information is downloaded, you can copy/paste to get it all in the same file.
