Are you seeing the following message?
When signing into Blackboard, some users report getting a "Sign-On Error" message (red text on a black background; see picture below). The error prevents users from logging into the Blackboard system. Even when the user selects “Return to Login Page” and attempts to sign in again, the error reappears.

How to fix it - Students
1. If you have recently registered for classes, check again later today or the next business day to allow the systems to sync.
2. If you were previously registered and now get this error, log into Self-Service and confirm registration status for your courses. If you are no longer registered, reach out to your adviser or admissions for assistance.
3. If you cannot get into Self-Service, submit a ticket for MFA support.
4. If this is not the error you see, consider troubleshooting for Blackboard "Oops!" Error
How to fix it - Faculty
1. If you are a newly-hired faculty member, you will need to confirm that you have been assigned to a course in Colleague. Once assigned to a course, check again later today or the next business day to allow the systems to sync.
2. If you previously had access and now get this error, log into Self-Service and confirm that you can see your courses in the "Faculty" area. If you see your courses, wait a few hours and try again, allowing the systems to sync. If issue persists, submit an "Instructional Tech (CISC) Support Ticket."
3. If you cannot get into Self-Service, submit a ticket for MFA support.
4. If this is not the error you see, consider troubleshooting for Blackboard "Oops!" Error
