How do I submit a Facilities request?

  • Sign into GTC4me
  • Click the Facilities Request tile (light blue FMX icon)
  • Select the request type and submit your work order

Cleaning & Grounds

What do I do when a bathroom, classroom, or office needs to be cleaned?
Submit a Facilities Request under Custodial Services.

What do I do if debris or trash needs to be picked up outside in a parking lot or around the grounds?
Submit a Facilities Request under Grounds Management.

Who do I contact when recycling bins need to be emptied?

Building Maintenance

What do I do when there is a problem with a building (toilets, HVAC, power, lights, etc.)?
Submit a Facilities Request under Facilities and Maintenance.

How do I report an elevator that is not working?
Submit a Facilities Request work order
Then call 864-250-8174 to report the issue.

What do I do if lights are out in the parking lot or around the grounds?
Report lighting outages to:

What do I do if there is a facilities emergency and I do not have access to a computer to submit a work order?

Call 864-250-8174 to report emergency maintenance issues.

Doors, Locks, & Access

If I need a door unlocked, who do I contact?
Contact the Campus Police non-emergency number for your campus.

Equipment Issues

How do I report broken equipment?
It depends on the type of equipment.

• Department equipment: Contact your Department Head. They will obtain a repair quote and send it to the Dean for funding approval.

• Computer or technology equipment: Submit an OIT Help Request.

• Other college-owned equipment: Submit a Facilities Request work order.

Furniture & Surplus

How do I request furniture replacement in my office?
For new furniture:

Complete a Project Request Form
Submit it to your Department Head to determine if funding is available
You may also check with Surplus for available items

How do I request removal of unwanted furniture?
Complete the Surplus Furniture and Equipment Form
Submit a Facilities Request work order for pickup or moving assistance
